Supporting make and bash is fine, but we should expand our horizons with other runners.

  • Add support for whatever shell is in $SHELL to run .sh files. For reproducibility, it might be questionable to do this to .sh, maybe use a new flag or suffix?
  • Add support for other runners, such as (maybe) snakemake or nextflow.
  • Look into adding support to run CWL.
