Key Expired

Hi, i'm trying to install miktex for the first time in an ubuntu 22.04 but the key provided in the url https://miktex.org/download/key has expired on 2025-05-02 so the apt update fails. I've found an unanswered discussion about this from april 2021 here #795

It seems that this must be fixed by the MiKTeX maintainers but no idea how long it can take, from the other discussion after half a year the issue was not fixed yet. Thanks in advance for any help or info you can give to me.

The key in the official guide is already updated but the error keeps going. The solution was to convert the key from the .asc format to a .gpg format and respectively change the "signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/miktex-keyring.asc" to "signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/miktex-keyring.gpg". I don't know if this would worked with the expired key.
