unable to open miktex after updates

I just updated miktex using the miktex console. After the update it said I have to close the miktex console, ok.
When I try to restart the miktex console it just says:

This application failed to start because no QT platform plugin
could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this
problem

Now when I try to uninstall miktex, exactly the same error shows?!?

What am I supposed to do?

System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Any other information required?

I manually deleted everything related to miktex I was able to find and then installed a new version of miktex. Now it works.
