I have several questions, just let me know if you'd prefer me to create a discussion for each.

Is there any guidance on deploying to production? I assume most don't give their app access to admin credentials?
It looks like there are three queues deployed for each message type (or maybe consumer?). Type 1, 2 and 3. Type 1 seems to get all the messages. What is the purpose for types 2 and 3?
Is it safe to run multiple instances of an application utilizing the SQL transport? If it is, are there any additional configurations that should be made?

That's up to you, I would use the migrator but everyone with SQL seems to have their own rules.
Each queue has a dead-letter (skipped) and error queue associated with it with the same name, different queue type.
Yes, it's encouraged actually. You can also do fully partitioned, in-order messaging across instances as shown in this sample.
