Magenic was sold 3-4 years ago, and now I split my time between Marimer (my company for CSLA), Xebia (a consulting firm not unlike Magenic in some ways) and fun stuff like fishing, traveling, and enjoying life 😀

The code is dependent upon an interface the the class itself ( Stateful<T> just below the utility method in the picture).  They are all here (just scroll to that line number)…[Fork] [Fork] AA-20251213 | C# Online Compiler | .NET Fiddledotnetfiddle.net…but the logic that determines the state is in this code.  It doesnt maintain the state, but determines it in real time, so no events for determine state change; however, that could be added with little issue.  It could be further used to determine if an BASE DB action successfully completed or not.I dont even know if CSLA works the way describe in your books from long ago, and the codebase is enomous now, so… :\.  I looked at it briefly and it looks to have a lot of reflection and functionality built into it for many different types of solutions.  I mostly, if I write code, spend my time in the core code base.  Jobs disappearred during Covid and I’ve only worked a few months since.  I pray it gets better soon, else our kids and grandkids wont have much of a future to live for.  I hope you and yours are doing well and that you all have a great XMas. R. Ok, so the interfaces start around L.3500 and the code and helpers continue to around 3900. After briefly looking at the codebase here (I've never seen so much reflection), I dont know what, if any, good it would be, but you might like it. It uses Hashcode to determine an Identifiable (has ID) object's state, upon request. It doesnt, and wasnt written to, support object update events, but you could add that.

There's a lot of code there, most of it just me F'ing around. It's not running in any prod system, but much of it could. The Main module is near the very end of the code. U're looking for Stateful and StatefulHelper. There's a bunch of interfaces that aren't really needed (old habits die hard), yet.

Anyway, it's not managing child object state, just the one that is gets at T generic parameters, but again, that would be easy to add.
