After discussion with Christian, it seems that it is a good idea to support not only systems

$$y'(t) = f(t, y)$$

but also systems

$$M y'(t) = f(t, y)$$

with a mass matrix $M$.

TODO list:

Investigate, which solvers support this
Look at the MATLAB documentation on how to structure the interface
Add support for the interface and the implementations
