I have successfully updated my laptop to Catalina 10.15.2. Everything works normally but the battery life is shorter than Mojave 10.14.6. On Mojave 10.14.6 I have a battery life of about ~ 7 hours, but now, it only has about ~ 4 hours. Has anyone else encountered the same condition as me? And there are any remedies or not?

Battery has dropped for me as well, but I am able to get about 6 hours with 4K display (8 hours with 1080p before panel swap, would get about 10 in Mojave). How are you using your device?

My laptop is running on 10.14.6. I usually use chrome with a youtube tab, facebook, and some other tabs (about 2 - 5 tabs), vscode for web devloper, visual studio for C#. It's over.

After you successfully install Catalina, you must replace kexts from the kexts folder to enable Bluetooth.

Could you please share your EFI folder? (Maybe create your own repository)

Use this EFI folder, it works fine with me.

Did you make any changes to this EFI v1.5 folder for better battery life?

In fact, the battery life of my 4k model is only about 3 hours on each macOS build, if someone can solve battery life problem, I will be very happy.

How are ya'll getting such long battery life with hackintosh? I'm new to using hackingtosh. My 7590 (i9 processor) gets 2-3 hours on battery.

Nobody gets more.
