Evaluation needed whether this is an improved UX behavior.
Maybe create a beta version for this (branch) or add a feature toggle to beta test this

Impl

Store resulting message ID in cache
Delete user messages once processed?
Add status / error messages inline?
Formatting for message (bold, italics, colors?, ...)
