[BUG] Google Feed stuck in open view when device folded

Describe the bug

When a foldable device is used closed, the Google Feed appears as normal with a single column(Image 1). When the foldable device is opened and the Feed is accessed, it spreads out to a wider view with two columns, as expected (Image 2). However when the device is closed, the Feed does not redraw to a single column (Image 3). I have only observed this behaviour with Lawnchair launcher - stock Pixel Laucher behaves as expected

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open Google Feed with device closed
2. Open device and open google feed again
3. Close device and open google feed to see two columns instead of one

Expected behavior

Google Feed should redraw to a single column following device fold.
