  1. If a keystore is generated and downloaded in publicweb (e.g. via the enroll button) the filename is username.p12
  2. If a keystore is generated and downloaded in RA UI the filename is CN.p12

I expected the name to be identical. Can the name be changed?

publicweb has been deprecated since some time, and is actually removed from the version currently available for download.

That is clear to me. That's why I'm currently migrating to RA UI and found this difference.

We have a MachineCert profile in which the CN is used exclusively for the salutation in notifications.
If a user manages several machine certificates, it is a source of error that they all get the same name when downloading.
Mixing up the P12 files used to be impossible when the username (unique per machine account) had been used for the filename.

Ok, I think there is a formatting error in the issue post, because it only says "filename is .p12" perhaps you used brackets that are filtered away by GitHub?

Hi, is there any update or schedule for this issue?
I don't have access to the Jira

I was agreed that it is a good idea. But it have not made it into being changed yet due to priorities.
