I made the Scrawl-canvas screen recorder as a proof-of-concept to see how far I could push SC. The README in the repo should be self-explanatory

Record your screen directly in the browser. No installs. No sign-ins. No tracking.

This lightweight tool was built to make screen recording effortless and private 
- ideal for situations where installing software isn’t practical or desirable.

Key Features

Multi-Target Recording: Users can capture multiple areas of their screen simultaneously 
and arrange them on a canvas to highlight specific issues.

Customizable Backgrounds: The canvas background can be changed to a solid color or 
an image, allowing users to obscure sensitive information or personalize their recordings.

Picture-in-Picture Support: Users can include a "talking head" video overlay, enabling them 
to narrate and explain the issue as it occurs.

 Flexible Output Formats: Recordings can be made in various aspect ratios, including 
landscape (16:9), square (1:1), and portrait (9:16), catering to different presentation needs.

Local Download: Upon completion, the recorded video is downloaded directly to the user's 
device for easy sharing or further editing.
