Quick questions
HOI4 version: Latest
Kaiserreich version: Also latest.

Describe the specific change you would like:
I suggest changing the colors of some socialist (or able to become socialist) nations.

  • please, for the sake of all holy, give back socialist Russia’s faded green color, or whatever color you devs decide, just, change it.

  • maybe have socialist Ukraine’s color become slightly darker blue, somewhere in between Mainland France and Sand France’s

  • remove the red from the SRI and just let it have its post-unification green, it’ll lose the red color anyway upon unifying

  • let socialist Greece keep its red color and not revert to blue

  • change at least totalist KMT-led China’s color to a darker, “angrier” shade of red, though I believe the non-totalist KMT could use a change too - maybe make it more faded/less pink.

  • buff the Song Qingling+LCS paths, I never quite managed to get the 25% syndicalist popularity I needed to get these the “legit” way and I did my best to increase syndie popularity at every opportunity. And I’m sure I’m not alone.

Explain the reasoning behind this actionable change:

In the exact same order as the suggestions above:

  • Giving socialist Russia the same color as all other Russian paths makes an already bland country (I’ve actually heard that it’s unfinished) even more boring to play. It robs it of any identity completely and doesn’t signify the huge changes that come with a socialist government - it gives off a vibe of “hey, it’s still the same sh*thole it was and these lefties are temporary”. Obviously the removal of the SOV tag is not a problem as we’ll see in the next reasoning section.

  • About Ukraine - Ukraine is the living proof about the Russia thing above and I’m suggesting the color change for a similar reason too.

  • The SRI’s red is temporary, until unification, then it goes away, making it a bit useless. Perhaps different colors for SRI can be implemented in the totalist paths, where it’s going to portray just how batshit crazy the country has gone.

  • Socialist Greece should keep its red after winning the civil war. CSA is a good precedent as to why.

  • The KMT’s pinkish red is a bit of an eyesore. I think it used to have a different color until a short time before the rework was released, maybe return it to that. Totalist KMT change is again for the same reason as totalist SRI above, and if you ask me, the KMT is a lot more insane than Mussolini can ever be.

  • The Song+LCS paths are just overly difficult to do; I never managed to get them the legitimate way, as I said above.

Not really. Be cool and have a nice day!

KMT colors are staying the same to avoid having the same color as Bhartiya Commune.

I think you misunderstood me slightly. I said, if I remember correctly, the KMT's colors were slightly more faded about 2 years ago, not darker. The Bharatiya Commune's color is much, much darker than that.

There are no color changes planned for the KMT. Thank you for your suggestion.
