Validations

  • I have checked for similar bug reports and could not find any.
  • I have tested and confirmed that this is an issue in an official branded build.

Describe the bug

every time i try to export video (camera is set, animation is working fine), no matter what choices i make in dropdown menu, or what codecs i use, it will always output mp4 file. png sequence? one mp4 file. webm? one mp4 file. etc.

no crashes, no errors.

Reproduction

  1. video export, pick anything but mp4
  2. set adequate codec to the format
  3. export

I think you also need to set the correct extension in the filename.

This doesn't mean that this is not a problem, but at least there is a workaround until this get's fixed.
