[Feature Request] Allow edge tools to edit through edges

Description

Currently, the edge tool requires users to select two vertices to add or edit edges. However, we should enhance this functionality by allowing users to delete or edit an edge with a single click directly on the edge itself, without needing to select the vertices.

Update the edge tool to include a feature that enables users to delete or modify an edge by simply clicking on the edge. This will streamline the process, making it more intuitive and reducing the number of actions needed to perform these tasks.
