Hey guys

thanks first of all for the very cool and practical tool!
Is it possible that only the registered user can migrate his data to a new Mac? That would be a great feature for security reasons. The best way to control it would be via a key in the configuration profile.
Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Hey SMartorelli,

yes of course!
My customer wants the function that only the logged-in user from the old Mac can transfer his files to the new Mac (still with the same user).
We want to make sure that it is the right user. Not that someone copies the data of another user to get to the data.
For example, a check that only the currently logged-in user is the same as the logged-in user on the new Mac.

Thank You!

Got it. Since the app requires physical access to the unlocked machine to run, I think that the logged-in user check doesn't add any protection for the data. The app anyway requires an OTP verification upon connection to the destination device.
