Snyk reports the following High severity vulnerability in HumanCellAtlas/data-consumer-vignettes. Please remediate by the end of Q1 Milestone 2.
Description
org.apache.hadoop:hadoop-hdfs
Suggested Remediation
Upgrade org.apache.hadoop:hadoop-hdfs to version 2.7.0 or higher.
Details
org.apache.hadoop:hadoop-hdfs is a framework that allows for the distributed processing of large data sets across clusters of computers using simple programming models. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cryptographic Issues. It does not check the BlockTokens of clients when Kerberos is enabled and the DataNode has checked out the same BlockPool twice from a NodeName, which might allow remote clients to read arbitrary blocks, write to blocks to which they only have read access, and have other unspecified impacts.
