Request to make a new release

Since the last release was in August 2024, is there a new release on the horizon? I've been really wanting a version of Hammerspoon with #3745 for a while 😄

I will take this issue as an opportunity to ask about the future of the project. I'm new to it, started using couple months ago, so just ignore my question and point to previous discussions if this was already announced.

What is the current status regarding maintainers, plans for future releases, if there are any big refactors on the going, etc?

Why do I ask? I'm no macOS developer, but somewhat experienced software engineer that would be willing to contribute to the project. Perhaps, there is something blocking further development that I could engage on 🔨 🥄
