It's 100% not respond and I have force quit it in activity monitor app if I start it on macos startup.

and then randomly not respond and require force quit and re-start again while in use later after macos startup.

My guess is that it's a garbage collection issue. Try capturing your watcher in a global variable.

@latenitefilms Thanks, i have appWatcher = hs.application.watcher.new(applicationWatcher) for a while and the issue still happens.

nothing special from console, only see some keybind disable/enable when switch apps.

this causes issue:

hs.hotkey.bind({ "cmd", "ctrl" }, "b", function()
    hs.execute('/path/to/application',
        false)
end)

async run and wait for the app to exit, but it won't as it's gui app :)
