What's the right way to universally shift all windows down by 32px?

What's the right way to "universally" shrink all windows by 32px (h) and shift them down by 32px (y)? Basically, I'm using a menu bare placement that is 32px in height and want all of my hs.layout.maximized layouts to handle the above scenario. I thought dealingmm with hs.grid and setting the margin would work, but it's y, both top and bottom, so that's no good. Thoughts?
