Find-orientations not moving to next step #1743
Comments
So it only happens when you re-run it? That's not good... |
Hi Patrick,
Yes, only when I re-run. For example, I have ben able to replicate it multiple times, and each time I am doing the following. I load in the data, and run a find orientations of ruby for example for calibration. Then I run fit-grains. With the fit-grains data I run through a calibration procedure for the rotation series. Then, I attempt to run the find-orientations again, and it sits there and just stalls. The progress dialog box is still running, but the window never closes to move on to the next step. The command log will display that 3 grains were found, but that is it.

I might not be able to get to this in the next few weeks, but please remind me later if I forget! I don't think it will be a difficult fix. |

I am running detector calibration using some ruby data. I loaded in the data, ran find orientations and then fit grains. Went through the calibration process. When I went to re-run the find-orientations it works as normal until it gets to the part where it should plot the grains. The window shows that it found the 3 ruby grains I need, but the window just stays up, with the progress bar running continuously. It will run for over an hour before I end it.
