Be sure to check the existing issues (both open and closed!), and make sure you are running the latest version of Guake.
For how to run the latest Guake in your computer, please refer to Install from source.

I would like to have an option on the Guake terminal to align my terminal to either the left side or the right side. While these directions are relatively rare in the greater Linux community, particularly with the GNOME Desktop, I believe that certain special types of developers would be better suited to an interface that pops from the left or right sides of the display, just as we have already gained the bottom-align ability based on workflows such as systems where the user does not want to interfere with the taskbar that may be on the top, even for the intended GNOME Desktop.
