Part of the Pioneer Monument depicting Kit Carson in Denver removed by the city on June 26. The remainder of the monument remains for now. This follows the direct action removal of two other Denver statues in the previous two days. Indigenous groups have been advocating for its removal for 40 years.
I'll work on creating this page with someone local to me who's interested in participating but unfamiliar with GitHub. I'll set myself a reminder to update this issue in a week if it doesn't sound like they'll be able to provide the content. (Edit: haven't heard back from them, so some one else can take this issue if desired!)
