version 2.22.1 has no release

I see a tag for version 2.22.1 in the git repository but I don't see any release for it and also no release artifacts. Is this by design or is something wrong with this version?

But the tags have a 2.22.1 version. this confuses automatic update tools like renovate and/or nvchecker.

@alphanota can you look at the discrepancy between the non-existing release but the existing git tag? renovate for us sees the git tag and does the update in an MR, but the pipeline then tries to get the artifacts from the release which doesn't exist.
