Ok, here's roughly what I'm imagining...

And maybe a bit of explanation of important bits, because I drew them badly

Now it needs some more colour, and maybe something in the background. Options for the background may include a beaver riding a moose, Big Ben, Fagradalsfjall, or better stuff.

That's a lot of detail to get in an icon. I could play around in Photoshop a bit to see what sticks?
