Here's the process to push the changes on the staging site (gh-pages branch) to the production or main site (master branch) at sdg.data.gov.

  • From https://github.com/GSA/sdg-indicators you'll click on "New pull request."
  • Select "master" on the left and select "gh-pages" on the right. These should be the two branches compared, in that order.
  • If there are no conflicts it will say "Able to merge" in green.
  • Click on the green button. Then, "Open pull request" will appear. Provide a name for the pull request and then submit.
  • Then a pull request is sent to the administrator (Jen or Phil can accept it using the usual process).
