but when I go to get the pop up going on World it won't show up and I get this message on the inspect of the popup saying CSS button is missing?

I'm on a mac on the new venture and I'm running the latest anki version (beta 2.1.55 intel 6 with Anking V12 and have tried the extension on chrome and Brave browser and no luck- it may be one of those components that is jacking things up but seems like its just missing the CSS button and not sure how to go about including that and where.

That is an issue for the developer of that extension, not with AnkiConnect.
