Does v8 API documentation exist?

Hello,

This home assistant integration eifinger/hass-foldingathomecontrol#457 is broken when using F@H v8. Reddit seems to suggest staying with v7 (and a dislike for v8) but the F@H website has it listed as DEPRECATED.

The maintainer is unable to update their package to support v8 because they are currently working on other projects. I would like to give them a hand in updating the package to support v8 but can't seem to find any documentation for the API.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know I need to rewrite the websocket connection code in lufah to at least do automatic reconnects.

If there is anything else needed, please open a GitHub issue in the lufah repo.

Don't worry about v7 being deprecated.
There is no scheduled retirement.
It will probably still be supported for a couple years.

Watching the javascript console in your web browser with web control app open is very informative.
