Adding games with same "id"

How do you add a game id for retro games? Are the ids just random numbers? Ive added crc32 to some games cause for some reason they werent present. But games like actraiser there are 3 usa, jp, and arcade. But all 3 show the same id. Is it possible to add an entry so each has its own namp? Like Actraiser, Actraiser T-Eng, Actraiser Arcade?
