Vnand Regression? Wii Save Games Crash back to Menu

Describe the bug
When choosing a Wii game no loading bar is seen and you are kicked back to the menu

To Reproduce
Use Vnand with saves that worked for version 5.5.2, partial, and try to load a game that has an old save file.
Mine was Mario Kart.

What version of WiiFlow Lite
v5.5.4

On Wii or Wii U vWii
Wii

Additional context
I tried everything to get my Vnand working in this new version, I reverted to 5.5.2 and it works fine.
All my games load with their custom saves
