As #188 demonstrates, it appears the wiki may have diverged from the individual help/manpages.

I am trying to install phyx in linux but I am not a sudoer. do you know any other way to do it any other way?
Sorry, something went wrong.
You mean for phyx itself? During the configure stage you can do:
./configure --prefix=$HOME
and this will install it in your home directory, and so you will not need sudo.
