Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Workspace has per diem rates.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Create a per diem expense.
4. Open transaction thread.
5. Click More > Split.
6. Click Save.
7. Open any split.
8. Click More > Delete.
9. Delete the split.

Expected Result:

Per diem split can be deleted without issue.

Actual Result:

The split reappears after trying to delete it, with error "Unexpected error submitting this expense. Please try again later.".

Per diem split can be deleted without issue.

What is the root cause of that problem?

When deleting a split transaction, call the updateSplitTransactions function in IOU.ts.
