Rules and conditions for creating a new IDE plug-in

I see that different IDE-s and editors are getting Codeium plug-ins, but I haven't found the official API or set of rules for this.

I'd like to add limited Codeium plug-in for https://github.com/thonny/thonny (Python IDE for beginners). Tried contacting Codeium via the contact form on their web-page, but got no response in 5 days. Then I sent e-mail to [email protected] but still got no response.

@pqn, if I'm not mistaken, you work for Codeium -- can you please shed some light on this? Do I need to follow a specific procedure for creating a new IDE plug-in or can I just start digging in the code of existing plug-ins, write my plug-in and publish it without notifying Codeium?

I was able to exchange some JSON messages with the language server, and also some binary websocket messages with the chat server. Now I'm stuck with getting response to GetChatMessageRequest. It looks like message from the user was accepted, because the message and response became visible in the chat web-client, but the response does not arrive to the websocket in my Python program.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Should the websocket be configured in a special way?
