PaliGemma (or PaliGemma 2) is a model that does not undergo instruction tuning. Given this, it is questionable whether it aligns with the intent of the benchmarks in this repository. Additionally, as of January 31, 2025, there are no publicly available weights—such as those hosted on Hugging Face—that endow the model with general QA capabilities, further supporting this point
