Hello Everyone,

Sashimono v1.0.0 Release (Non-mandatory update)

We’re excited to announce that Sashimono is now compatible with Ubuntu 24.04!
We have released Sashimono 1.0.0 which is compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
This is not a required update for people who are already running Evernode as this version is to enable the compatibility for Ubuntu 24.04.
If you own a machine running Ubuntu 24.04 you can try this out.

Special Note

Host machine OS Upgrade/Downgrade
Even though Evernode supports Ubuntu 20.04 and 24.04, If you upgrade or downgrade your host machine's Ubuntu version while Evernode is installed, Your Evernode will stop working due to compatibility issues. If you are planning to do so, You should transfer your Evernode registration before upgrade/downgrade and install Evernode using the respective installer after the upgrade/downgrade.

Evernode Versions
As you can install Evernode on Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu 24.04, two Evernode versions are maintained to support the requirements of the OS. You are allowed only to install the respective Evernode version on the respective Ubuntu version. The installers for the two versions will also be different. The updates and patches will be given continuously for both versions.

The version number can be identified by its first digit as follows

• Ubuntu 20.04 - v0.x.x
• Ubuntu 24.04 - v1.x.x

New Features and Enhancements

• The version is optimized and upgraded to support Ubuntu 24.04 with all the existing features in Sashimono 0.12.1

How to Install

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EvernodeXRPL/evernode-24-resources/main/sashimono/installer/evernode.sh | sudo bash -s install

Diagnostics and Issue Report
If you experience any problems during this update or while maintaining your host in version v1.0.0, please refer to Diagnostics section. If it doesn't solve your problem open an issue here or contact Geveo team on Discord Direct Messaging with the supporting log files.
When you are creating issues, don't forget to label them with the Ubuntu version you are running (Ubuntu 20.04 or Ubuntu 24.04) so the development team can identify the issues separately.
