The edirom edition XML defines works/work elements. These define a @sortNo, an @xml:id and point to an MEI file representing the work in MEI using the @xlink:href. If a work fails to load properly via the work-switch this can be caused by an ID-mismatch of the edirom:work and the root element (mei:mei or mei:work) of the corresponding MEI file.
