Command for stopping the script?

Hi,
Many thanks for the helpful project. Works as expected. However, beside a fixed schedule I would like to stop (and start again) the script remotely by creating a button in homebridge. But I don‘t know what command I should use to stop the scanner - the help does not give any hint. Can anybody help?

Hi @crazykiwi2003,
I would suggest you create a system service to run the scanner. Then you can start and stop the scanner by starting and stopping the service with a simple command. You could even choose whether the scanner should run after reboot.
