Hi! Great project I just learned about!

A killer feature, which would have me installing right now would be a more private storage
situation. Or is ist already possible to integrate org-web with some self-hosted data backend
and I missed it?

Great work!

Thank you :) Glad you like it!

It's not currently possible to use something like Nextcloud, unfortunately. But you can host org-web on your own pretty easily so you can use your own Dropbox or Google Drive key if you'd like. Happy to help with that path if you're interested.

Horrible horrible workaround is to load Dropbox/gdrive as an external storage in your Nextcloud instance so you can keep your org files synced with all NC toys.

Better would be a Nextcloud-application that understands org-mode basic formatting syntax.

But, also, NC sync/share is WebDAV, so implementing the access to WebDAV resources mostly-resolves this issue.

WebDAV would be lovely. Or just let me open a local file. That way I can simply sync my org file via whatever service and just use org-web on that local file.
