Hi, I'm Qiye (courtesy name: Ximing), a computational materials scientist with a passion for developing and applying machine learning techniques to accelerate materials science research. With a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Macau, I've been fortunate to work under the guidance of Prof. Cai.
During my graduate studies, I've focused on using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and enhanced sampling methods to study the diffusion behavior of atoms. Recently, I've become increasingly interested in exploring the potential of generative models for materials discovery.
I'm excited about the possibilities that AI4S holds, and I'm committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible through the intersection of physics, chemistry, and artificial intelligence.
