Running Unmuddle fails with error

Hello and thanks for the great work! I have dumpscribe working and looking to get unmuddle to function. I'm getting the following error:

Question: should unmuddle be using python 3? I see that stf2pdf.py is using python3. Any help would be appreciated! Again, thanks for the work on this!
