PullAsync and get specific records by paramters ...

Hello,

Ages ago, we were able to do this:

await _appointmenttable.PullItemsAsync(_appointmenttable.Where(a => a.UserId == Settings.UserId && a.AnotherParam == Settings.AnotherParam));

Looking at PullAsync and the overloads, is there a way to do something similar? Maybe using the PullRequestBuilder and/or PullOptions?

PullResult pullResult = await this.PullAsync(pullRequestBuilder, pullOptions, cancellationToken); //something like that?

Cannot find documentation on using those overloads or the params.

OR - are we supposed to use this (below link) for more specific pushpull operations? I don't need a fulltime online client since users don't always have connectivity. But when they PULL, they should only get their own records (obviously).

@adrianhall - thanks for that. Still trying to make it work.
I did find the sample code is errant and need to figure out a couple typo issues... I think this is what it should be in that Documentation:

            optionsBuilder.Entity<Movie>(cfg => {   cfg.ClientName = "movies";
                                                    cfg.Endpoint = new Uri("/api/movies", UriKind.Relative);
                                                    cfg.Query.Where(x => x.Rating != MovieRating.R);
                                                });

That looks right. If that isn't what it says, file an issue, then put in a PR for the documentation.

As is from docs with my own entities it had a few syntax typos.
The options.Entity had to be change to optionsBuilder.Entity and a couple other typos.
At least the IDE isn't complaining :)

So I finally got it right. Works really well!

Thought I'd throw this in to maybe help others... just to make it clearer :)

optionsBuilder.Entity<Movie>(cfg => {   cfg.ClientName = "movies"; //Client name is used to identify the table in the local store (lower case matters!)
                                                    cfg.Endpoint = new Uri("/api/movies", UriKind.Relative); //The endpoint is the URL of the table in the remote service. So based on that, this is probably in the relevant controller in the App Service:   [Route("api/movie")]
                                                    cfg.Query.Where(x => x.Rating != MovieRating.R);  //The query is used to filter the data that is synchronized
                                                });

Datasync has come a long way and this framework is VERY good!
