I'm using the Sony timecode repair function in command post to generate XML's to use with DaVinci Resolve. I've had no issues in the past but recently I get an error message saying:
"The data we've generated for Final Cut Pro does not pass DTD validation.
This is most likely a bug in CommandPost.
Please refer to the CommandPost Debug Console for the path to the failed FCPXML file if you'd like to review it.
Please send any useful information to the CommandPost Developers so that this issue can be resolved."
Any ideas what's going on or how to fix this?
Thanks!!

If you open up the CommandPost Debug Console, you should see a path to a temporary FCPXML file. Does this file import into DaVinci Resolve?
Can you try CommandPost v1.4.27 and see if that works? In CommandPost v1.5.0 we started to force the Sony Timecode Repair Toolbox to use FCPXML v1.11, so that it can be more easily imported into older versions of DaVinci Resolve.
Thanks for the reply. I'm given this path - "Invalid FCPXML was temporarily saved to: /tmp/lua_TXmH3q.fcpxml"
I've been searching for a while and can't find the file or where that folder is located. I was able to install v1.4.27 of command post. I tried running the Sony timecode correction again in this version and got this error notification -
"2025-02-05 07:32:49: 07:32:49 ERROR:sonytimeco: The supplied FCPXML did not pass DTD validation. Please check that the FCPXML supplied is valid and try again."
Any thoughts on where that tmp folder is located or something else I should try?
One more update for you. I was able to locate the tmp folder and the corresponding file and import it into resolve. There were some errors with clips not lining up properly in the timeline but it's probably workable enough for me finish out the project.
