  • We need to simplify the design of the previous year's manipulators
    • Too many servos, too many things can go wrong.
    • Don't need that many degrees of freedom
    • At most we need (1) gripping and (2) twisting
    • 'passive' hooks on the chassis itself may be enough
  • Working Budget is ~$0
    • Prefer material in Robotics Space or Machine Shop Scrap
    • McMaster/MetalMart/Etc. only if budget expansion or necessary
