Brainstorming

  • place to put solarpanel depending on irriadtation (-> pyranometer)

  • installation of solarpanels, mountin & wiring (-> how much wire we need?)

  • connecting to box

  • wires, mounting hardware

  • testing devices -> pyranometer, multimeter


  • calculation efficiency of whole system (solarpanels, MPPT, BMS, battery)

  • maximum output, behaviour (temperature, efficiency level, nominal point)

  • traces for validation (system parameter)

  • choosing differents loads

  • standards for decentral energy systems? VDMA, VDE?

  • sheet with testing procedures

  • preparing folder in github

1. Testing of components (MPPT, BMS)

  • what to test, how to test, when to test

2. Installation of Energy System in Fablab St.Pauli

  • which loads, how much solar power, how much capacity -> design and layout
    till 06.18

3. Monitoring

  • energy data monitoring and analysis
    till 09.18

next steps:

  • talk to mr. kampschulte
    • access to laboratory, possibilties for praxis work, ...
  • set up a concept plan
  • set up a timeplan

Testing the BMS:

  1. find out the BMS requirements / What does the BMS needs to do:
    • Voltage balancing
    • Temperature checking
    • etc
  2. Testing if the BMS fulfils each requirement:
    • Measure the voltage at each cell
    etc
