Improve dark mode presets #11225
Comments
Would be nice also to be able (eg. in config file) to set light mode as default. |
@Atomique What is your collabora online version? You can check that by opening a file and in: Help > About it will provide you the version information. You can copy paste it this ticket. Also, can you change the font color of the text to: automatic and tell me if that fixed the issue.
@LosHunterros the latest release, together with richdocument from nextcloud will allow in the user settings of richdocuments to have a: browserconfig.json file where the user can set dark mode or light mode as default. |
I am so sorry, I simply missed to add that here:
I marked a cell in the excel and changed the color to "automatic" and it worked. Yes! If background is black, font is white and vice versa. But that means that I need to change the text color of all documents that I open? |
It would be much better if it was in coolwsd.xml (Default light or dark theme) |
@Atomique Could you create a new calc file, add some text to it and then switch to dark mode. This will tell us what is the default for the font color of the template you are using, if automatic or black. |
A clear and concise description of what the problem is.
If I open up a table with dark mode enabled and it has black font inside the table, I need to enable the invertion of the dark mode first to be able to see the content of the file. Would be nice if I could configure this over a settings to have a default dark mode with invertion enabled for example.
The problem occurs especially with nextcloud: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/dark-mode-disable-in-collabora/215760
thanks a lot and have a nice day
Atomique
