Add option to specify hotkey to clear the buffer

The old versions used to use Ctrl-X to clear the buffer. Simple and worked great. Newer versions use Shift-Ctrl-X which is a lot more cumbersome. And it interferes with some other software. Please consider adding an option to CHANGE the hotkey for clearing the buffer, so it can be assigned to whatever keyboard combination the user wants to use.

the change was intentional because to many people where accidentally clearing the buffer. Please use an older version, or if you ready need a newer feature, I can make you a specific binary that uses Ctrl-X?

I understand and figured it was something like that. I have several older versions so I'm good, but would like to keep updated.

Would it be possible to have an option to switch between Ctrl-X or Shift-Ctrl-X?
