bad LAS export #1991
Comments
I think the error comes from LASzip : And I would bet that it's caused by the 2 VLRs that were loaded from the original LAZ file (you can see them as 'Meta data' at the bottom of the cloud properties - 'LAS.vlrs' - probably the CS/Projection VLRs). When we try to save them 'as is', it probably triggers this error in LASzip. Do you have the original file? @tmontaigu do you maybe have another idea? |
I'm not sure I understand the message. We can see the error and the check here LASzip/LASzip@2a36ee0 which is "temporary" fix for LASzip/LASzip#50 So to fix this we have the make the changes so that the checks pass |
Hello,
I can't save in las format. I use version 2.13.1 Kharkiv.
From bin file in attachement, I go File/save, I choose las format with a name and it opens a "LAS Save Options" window. I don't change any option and click on OK and then I get an error popup window : "An error occurred while saving 'dd.las': the third-party library in charge of saving/loading the file has failed to perform the operation"
At the end, I have very small las file with 1528 points whereas I expected 46041 ones..
I upload the file. I try to export the bin into a las file.
dd.bin.gz
dd.las.gz
