DESCRIPTION

Initialize cmdlet is used to instantiate the object of complex type in the Powershell session, it does not create the object on the server.

PARAMETERS

-ActiveAdapters

Type: System.Collections.Generic.List`1[string]
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-AdditionalProperties

Type: System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2[string,object]
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-ClassId

The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type.\nThis property is used as a discriminator to identify the type of the payload\nwhen marshaling and unmarshaling data.

Type: VirtualizationVmwareTeamingAndFailover.ClassIdEnum
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-Failback

By default, a failback policy is enabled on a NIC team. If a failed physical NIC returns online, the network component sets the NIC back to active by replacing the standby NIC that took over its slot.

Type: bool
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-LoadBalancing

Determines how network traffic is distributed between the network adapters in a NIC team.\n* loadbalanceIP - Load balance based on IP hash.\n* loadbalanceSrcmac - Route based on source MAC hash.\n* loadbalanceSrcid - Route based on originating virtual port.\n* failoverExplicit - Use explicit failover order.\n* loadbalanceSrcnic - Route based on physical NIC load.

Type: VirtualizationVmwareTeamingAndFailover.LoadBalancingEnum
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-Name

Name of the network component, example dvswitch, dvnetwork, vswitch or standard network.

Type: string
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-NetworkFailureDetection

Methods used by network component for failover detection.\n* linkStatus - This option detects failures such as removed cables and physical switch power failures.\n* beaconProbing - Sends out and listens for beacon probes on all NICs in the team, and uses this information, in addition to link status, to determine link failure. ESXi sends beacon packets every second.

Type: VirtualizationVmwareTeamingAndFailover.NetworkFailureDetectionEnum
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-NotifySwitches

Determines how network traffic is distributed between the network adapters in a NIC team.

Type: bool
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-ObjectType

The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type.\nThe value should be the same as the 'ClassId' property.

Type: VirtualizationVmwareTeamingAndFailover.ObjectTypeEnum
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-StandbyAdapters

Type: System.Collections.Generic.List`1[string]
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True True (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters: False

-Json

Returns the json payload received in response.

Type: SwitchParameter
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True False
Accept wildcard characters: False

-WithHttpInfo

Returns the HTTP response with headers and content.

Type: SwitchParameter
Parameter Sets: (All)
Aliases:

Required: false
Position: Named
Default value: None
Accept pipeline input: True False
Accept wildcard characters: False
