New installation on a shared hosting , installed siteworx,softaculous
index.php or login.php not coming up, only error 500
php is 8.2
c crm is 5.8
I have checked the File-System-Permissions and that looks ok .
what am i doing wrong?

What's in your ChurchCRM log files?

That's odd.

In Include\Config.php, put $debugBootstrapper = true;. If the variable is not already present in Config.php, you should add it.

This will cause the bootstrapper to write verbose logs as it sets up the environment.

The resulting debug log entries will be written to the log file for the current date (ending in -app.log).

Then share that with me please?

My apologies. I am still trying to complete your request, in the Church CRM folder using the search tool, there is no file Include\Config.php and there are 4 Config.php files. with my limited knowledge of coding I am trying to understand (google) which one is the general config file that you are looking for.

Okay, it sounds to me that you are trying to use the source archive (or something went horribly wrong with the Softaculous install).

Please install using: https://github.com/ChurchCRM/CRM/releases/download/5.8.0/ChurchCRM-5.8.0.zip

If it is a Softaculous install, you can just overwrite the files with the ones in the zip file and use the same database settings.

The church CRM file that I have been looking in to is sub directory for the html file on the web server, but be that as it may, let me try the github download and see, will let you know
