Missing "Align" options in Stage layouts?

Installation: v1.1.6 on Mac (arm)

Is there a way to change the alignment of text boxes in a stage layout? I can't figure out how to get anything other than vertically and horizontally centered.

I realize I could set up a new output style, but it would be nice to be able to customize alignment in the stage views.

I note that in contrast, the Edit view gives alignment options.
