Handle reminders when internet access is unavailable

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
My internet connection was recently down and when it finally came back up any reminders that should have been sent during that time period did not work - by this I mean they just went on to the next scheduled recurrence without sending the original reminder.

Describe the solution you'd like
If there is no internet connection, perhaps reminders could be saved/queued to be sent when the connection is restored?
